My windows PC's don't detect my Xperia X Compact.

I try to read files on my Xperia X Compact using my Windows (10) PC's, but they don't recognize my phone, no matter what I try. Please help.

For the computer to see the phone, the phone may have to have USB debugging enabled.

At least that is what every Android phone I have had required. I have never had your phone. The phone must also be in an open state. I.E., You must be signed into it. Sometimes a popup will appear asking if you want to charge or transfer files.
