It has a PCIe slot that can be used for either a WAN card (not to be confused with a WLAN card) or an mSata SSD

Here's the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop. Go to p.67 to view the procedure to remove/replace the mini wireless WAN card or the mSata SSD.

Not sure if you have to change a setting in BIOS for this or not, as they don't show BIOS settings in the manuals, so maybe check if it doesn't work.
