remove large amount of tree debris from empty above ground pool?

Would a shop vac or sewage pump make it easier to remove the large amount of tree debris in the bottom of my empty above ground pool? Thanks

@michellesc56030 a shop vac would probably be better. The sewage pump is not that great for debris but excellent for sludge.
