Can I use my Marshall Stockwell without the battery?

The battery on my Marshall Stockwell does not retain charge anymore. I removed it and i will refurbished it with a company that dedicates to this. Can i use it without the battery in the meantime?

Update (07/02/23)

After posting this question here, I contacted Marshall through their chat support.

They told me that removing the battery and using the speaker connected to the power supply charger would not cause any damage.

I decided to give it a try, and I'm happy to report that it works perfectly.

How do you connect the charger to the speaker directly? Is it simply an usb connection?

Check first your power supply if it still working.

  • Remove connecting terminal of your battery and check the positive and negative terminal wires if there's still voltage output. I yes, may your battery was already damaged (Replace it). If no voltage output or has a lower voltage output, replace your power supply battery charger.
  • If you want to use it without the battery anymore, you can use a power supply that has the same voltage/current rating to your charger/battery. Connect the power supply directly to the battery terminals after removing the battery.

I hope it can help.
