@applebonker Lets do it! As you probably already know, the order of dying by electrocution for your TV is : Main board, (T-con-board if it has one), power board and finally, the panel. So, we need to check things out. Remove the back of the TV and visually check the boards. Look for anything that may have experienced some catastrophic failure. (molten, scorched and/or simply missing) Next, you need to try and turn your set on. At least plug it in. No touching of the power board with your bare fingers. It will bite :-) Use your multi meter and measure the connector where the main board plugs into the power board. Remember, it is your main board that tells the power board to turn on etc,. (simplified) but you WILL have to have STBY voltage on that connector. No STBY voltage=Power board
