Replaced iPad battery, screen is now discolored and displaying lines.

Originally order the replacement battery, followed the guide step by step as instructed. However, when powering on the screen it is not working properly and is displaying lines and not the Apple logo as it should when you first turn it on. I don’t know if I was to rough while handling and repairing and the LCD screen is now damaged or if it is one of the clips not “snapped” in correctly. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.

P.s. This iPad mini 2 has never needed any repairs before, the battery just didn’t want to stay on for it to function properly. Before the battery was replaced the screen would turn on and show the Apple logo start up screen just fine, no lines. Never dropped the iPad mini 2 before or after the repair either. It was only after the replacement of the battery that it was doing this.

Turn it off, open it up and disconnect the battery. Disconnect the screen connectors then reseat them ensuring they are seated correctly. Then reconnect the battery. Turn it on and see if it works again. If not you probably damaged the lcd removing it.
