One of the later Walkman models with plenty of features.

My Walkman WM-FX303 is acting weird.

It is able to play the radio fine, but when I switch to cassette the cassette spins and looks like it’s playing fine, but I hear the radio not the cassette through the headphones. I checked and cleaned the entire inside and can’t find why this may be happening. Please let me know how to fix this, I don’t have a multimeter so I can’t manually check the switch itself but I did clean it.

Hi @isaahvillanueva

Looking at the schematic from the service manual it seems that the FM -AM- Tape (radio off) switch cuts off the tuner (AM FM) section, so you may need a multimeter to check if it is working properly.

If it is faulty I can't find a replacement by searching online for the part # (Sony 1-692-299-11), you may have better luck
