iMac screen going black and sleeping

Hello all!

So I did a recent repair where I swapped out the PSU as it was faulty and now the iMac will boot fine but keeps sleeping every minute or so where it will stop what it's doing and I will need to wake it.

Does anyone have an idea as to what could be causing this issue?

I've tried an SMC reset and PRAM reset but it just slept through the PRAM reset...

Update (06/06/23)

The screen goes black and the computer goes quiet, I then wake it by pressing on the keyboard or moving the mouse and it resumes where it left off.

The problem is it is doing it every 15 seconds - 1 minute and the system settings are not the issue.

@julianevans1111 explain this "keeps sleeping every minute or so where it will stop what it's doing and I will need to wake it" in a bit more detail. How does it go to sleep and how do you wake it up? What exactly happens?
