Top screen glitching out for no reason

Hi, my New 3ds XL recently just started glitching out 2 days ago. The top screen glitches out when it’s in the bending state, and I don’t know how to fix it.

I'd start by cleaning both the cable and ZIF connector with IPA. Then, make sure the cable is seated properly and test the screen again. If it still glitches, it's time for a replacement. iFixit does sell replacement screens, but they're out of stock right now. You can wait for a restock, or look for another source.

Once you have your new screen, this guide will take you through most of the process, but it falls apart a bit near the end
