Looking for Pixel 4 XL board level repair in Australia
Hi fellow ifixit community members,
I am looking for an experienced board level repair for my unresponsive Google Pixel 4 XL, located in Australia.
The phone shut down itself one day with about 40% battery left. I replaced a brand new battery but it still could not turn on. What's worse is that I cannot even see it in Device Manager when connected to a PC.
The goal is to restore the photos that I took with my family, which hold huge sentimental value to me. I made a rookie mistake of not enabling Google Photos backup when the phone was still working... :'(
I would be very grateful if someone could help or point me to the right direction.
Thank you in advance.

Hi @australia38585,
@benjamen50 used to be in Melbourne but hasn't been heard of for a while so hopefully by tagging him he may get back in touch.
Also I think that @imicrosoldering might be in Australia so again hopefully they'll also get in touch.
Cheers

@dadibrokeit Much appreciated Jerry W.
Btw, I just got myself a wireless charger. Unfortunately the phone doesn't appear to be charging even though the LED light of the charger indicates so.

@australia38585 Yeah, with everything you've tried so far I suspected as much, but in my opinion it was worth a few bucks to find out for sure.
