Screen burn still present after screen replacement

I attempted to repair a iPhone 5 I bought. The phone had a screen burn as the seller claimed. After opening it, I noticed some corrosion and some rust. I cleaned it by some Alcohol and cotton swabs. I placed a good genuine screen I Salvaged from another iPhone 5 but the screen burn is still present. Is it because I didn't fully clean the corrosion in the connectors or it's a logic board issue?

If the screen burn is in the same spot, updating or restoring the phone should fix the problem.
