I put myself in an unfortunate position with an unprofessional and unauthorized dealer and I would like to confirm whether or not iPhone X parts can be put into an iPhone 12

According to this person it was the motherboard. Then it turned out to be nearly every part including camera for Face ID, which when they were done “fixing” the phone, Face ID no longer works & they blamed apple security
