Need to identify soft adhesive used in Apple Laptops

I am refurbishing a 2015 15-inch MacBook Pro, and I have found a few places where components are adhered together but they were able to be separated with minimal force using only fingers and sometimes a little bit of heat (specifically, the display hinge cover with its two small end caps, but also certain internal cables that are just stuck down with a bit of adhesive, etc.). I am trying to identify the type of adhesive being used so I can restore it as close as possible to its original condition. Most of what I found online is classified as glue and intended to be permanent, whereas this adhesive is mild and just helps certain things stay in place a little bit. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find something equivalent?

Very thin, finely cut double-sided anti-static tape might be sufficient in some of those areas. I'm not sure if the exact adhesive used is available anywhere online. Good luck!

Upon taking a closer look, it appears that the existing adhesive is in fact a very thin double-sided tape. Not sure if I can actually replicate it, but the covers actually seem to be holding fine without it. Thanks for the tip!
