PlayStation 5 dead and won’t wake up.

Lighting storm this week and a surge through my Ethernet port has done everything in. I see burn marks right past the Ethernet port. The mini capacitor ( I could be mistaking) under the chip definitely took a hit. However, that’s the only damage I see. I’m sure the power supply is done but could the damage capacitor brick the ps5 ?

if im not mistaken i think its resistors that normally get blown around ethernet when that happens

Daniel you are more than likely correct. I’m still learning what everything is … lol I can fix it but I’ve usually just stuck with controllers and phones. Could that resistor effect a total shut down ?

Also everything I look up come up small ceramic compactor. That’s definitely what took the hit.
