Vibrator motor not working after battery replacement
I've replaced my battery and everything except my vibrator motor is working. Any ideas?

Hi @mwark
The vibrate motor is connected to the power button flex cable assembly.
Check that the power button flex cable is correctly inserted into the connector on the motherboard. Perhaps also check that there's no bent contacts etc in the connector first.
Here are some images taken from the Sony Xperia X Teardown video that show the power button cable motherboard connection and also the vibrate motor.

Don't know but looking at an image of the power button/vibrate flex cable it appears that the vibrator is permanently attached to the flex cable. (Hover mouse over image to zoom in for a closer look)
This is confirmed by the vibrator troubleshooting section from the service manual for the phone.
Here's an image from the manual, that shows what to check. It's not very detailed for a service manual I feel - i.e. no vibrate circuit component voltage checks etc simply check the connector, replace the flex cable or replace the main systemboard

If you suspect that the flex cable is the problem, search online for Sony 1296-7099 to find parts suppliers that suit you best.

The power flex connector pins look fine and it's properly seated into the motherboard. Before I pull it all apart again, is there another connector at the vibrator motor end that I can check?
I had a lot of trouble getting the old battery out because the tape kept breaking. I had to resort to using some nylon wedges so maybe I dislodged/damaged the cable at the motor end.
