New screen camera not working

I swapped a screen from a Macbook Pro A2251 and installed it in a MacBook Pro A1708, the screen works as expected but the camera isn't working saying camera not detected in all applications. I have checked all the connections and reseated them. Should this setup work and what connection is for the camera?

A2251 refers to a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports), and A1708 refers to either the MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Two Thunderbolt 3 Ports) or the MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 Ports). The display from the 2020 MBP is not fully compatible with the 2016 and 2017 models. Although the display portion will function, the camera will not. In order to have a working camera you will need to install a fully compatible display. Check this page for further information.
