Why my display doesn’t work? No backlight and no light from logo

my screen was replaced after dropping my laptop, it was replaced by a reputable technician. After receiving it I noticed the more I used it the more loose my display became. It started showing static like lines across the screen, mostly in the bottom section, but would disappear overtime. As of last week my screen just stop working completely. My battery died, charged my laptop and when I tried turning it on my screen just wouldn’t turn on but would have keyboard backlight and sound. Since then I have opened my laptop, I have replaced my battery, checked all connections, tried every sequence of buttons to reset various things, updated it whilst connected via HDMI, and nothing works. Can you guys please assist me, I bought a toolbox with every tool I’ll need for this job, please guide me on what I can do next. I’ve tried flashing its rear with a flashlight and there’s also no image, so I know that it can’t be the backlight, also the logo at the back of the display doesn’t light up, it’s as if my screen isn’t getting any power at all, but all connections seem to be fine and free of corrosion.

To me, this sounds like the display that was installed has a hardware issue that is preventing it from functioning normally. It may be malfunctioning or it may have a defect. I would recommend contacting the technician who installed it to see if it can be looked at under any sort of warranty or if they can test it with another known good display installed. It sounds to me like the display that was installed has failed and needs to be replaced. Good luck!

We cant just tell you what to do to fix it because we need to know specifically what is wrong. Is is the display, the display cable, is it the circuitry on the display, is the display circuitry on the logic board, etc? You will need to determine what is wrong first. If it were me I'd be looking at the cable from the display to the logic board and ensure its plugged into its respective connectors properly and there is no other damage. Also while in there tighten up the hinges. If that doesn't help then you will likely need to get another display to see if it works. if it works then the display installed died. etc. Perhaps reach out to the people that did the repair...
