Touchpad not working, settings gone

I have a problem where my whole touchpad settings gone, driver also gone, it’s like it doesn’t know that my laptop has a touchpad. It first happened when my windows update kept failing then my pc got stuck in a bsod loop. I had to reinstall windows on my laptop, but after that my touchpad stopped working. The Lenovo website does not have the touchpad driver available for download for my laptop, I need help.

Does the device show up when you've enabled "See hidden devices" in the device manager?

Have you tried installing a generic driver such as these ones listed on the Lenovo site? https://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/downloa...

@luxor5

Have you tried resetting the BIOS to default?

Press F9 after entering BIOS

@luxor5

If you're in BIOS pressing the F9 key should reset the BIOS to default values

If F9 doesn't work try Fn + F9 (both together) and check
