If you want to replace your broken LCD Screen of the Xoom Family Edition, after two years I've broken mine, I found a reliable seller (Fibica Store) in Ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-10-1-LCD-Lap...). I've bought mine and replaced it, and now after two years with it broken, I have mine working again with ICS and everything else. It's not so fast as my new Nexus 7 (with 4 cores), but it works and I can use it for write bigger texts and others.
If you want to try to fix it, first you will need a sharpen tool (small screwdriver, small knife...) anything that it's small enough to put on the sides of the Xoom Family Edition. It doesn't have any screw to open it, just a press and lock (sorry, and couldn't find a best name for it). You have to take care when you insert the sharpen tool, because it will mark the plastic if you force it (Be carefull, I've marked mine). After that, you will have to loose all the cables and screws (philips now) that hold the main board and it's circuits. Again, be carefull enough, and before you remove the screws and cablea, take a shot (picture) of the opened Xoom FE, to remember where you put those screws back to it. Do not touch the speakers or the cameras, because you will cut the membrane or let grease on the lens.
After you've removed all the internal pieces (if you have any doubt in how to do it, ask me), you will see that the LCD have an aluminum frame. You don't need to remove it from the LCD, the new one have the same aluminum frame, but you will have to cut some pieces from the new frame. I've used an cutting pliers to rip it of. But again, if you prefer to remove the frame to do it, just do it. It's better, it's more assured, I've almost broken my new LCD. But after you start buying the new scren, first, take a look at the position of the connector, before you buy it. Remember to talk with the seller about it. I've bought one, and first came a LCD Screen in the wrong side of my original screen.
After installing the new LCD screen, remember to clean the glass and the LCD very well, and do not leave any dust inside it, because if you let, it will bother you everytime you use it. Just use lenses cloth to clean it. Now you can reinstall all the internal pieces of your Xoom FE. And press the Power button, if yours it is charged. Enjoy
Cheers!

I have been unable to find any you tube videos on how to disassemble my xoom family edition. I was able to open it up, but now I need to know what I have to remove to replace the screen. The only video I have found is for a different xoom and there seems to be an awful lot of parts that are not pertinent to my particular device. Can you help?
