when blades engaged the mower stalls

I have a mtd yard machine..when blades engaged the mower stalls.. changed filter. Gas line. Cleaned carb and tank. Still have same prob .. what else can I check??

@y3jn22iuflbq what model is your MTD. Have you checked the mower safety switch?
