The XMAX V3 Pro is a pen vaporizer for dry herbs from the TopGreen brand.

How to repair heat sensor error?

The vape does not heat up, it always displays the heat sensor error.

You can try to remove the battery and put it back in, that has fixed the sensor error for some users. If that doesn't fix it you might have to reach out to the manufacturer. I'm pretty sure the warranty is 12 months from purchase.

The other Day i had the sensor error.

It happened when I was outside at night, not freezing but it was pretty chill.

After carrying it a few minutes in my hand, with a few times turning it on, it worked again.

Today I found a statement from somebody claiming to be representing XMAX at the fuckcombustion forums.

This behavior is no bug or malfunction, but a security feature.

18650 Batteries don't perform well, when too cold.

You just need to warm the device a bit and it works as supposed.

Today the error happened again, while indoor and it couldn't be the "too cold" protection.

I took the Device apart, for the Coil, the Thermistor and the + Wire you need to solder.

In the actual heating chamber is a mesh-coil and one of the contacts just barely touched the mesh.

I have not put it back together yet, its really finicky and takes a while to fiddle the wires through the different holes.

In this picture you see the bottom of the heater with the 4 wires.

The two thicker wires with translucent insulation are from the Coil
