How to replace a glass display?

I found a kit on ebay that would let me replace the glass display (which is scratched) without replacing the whole screen, most of the guides I can find say how to replace the whole screen, I'm struggling to find a step by step guide on how to replace just the glass display.

Ideally I'd like the step-by-step instructions to come in the kit (from MMobeil) but they don't explicitly say they do, any advice would be much appreciated, thank you in advance.

Hi Ísak,

I know it's been a while since you asked this, but I just came across something that would be of interest to you and anyone else contemplating a glass only repair. Personally I wouldn't usually recommend it, but having just paid over $180 for a replacement screen, I'm thinking it would be worth a try if my situation was appropriate. This last screen replacement I did it wouldn't have been because the front glass and the OLED were both damaged, but considering the cost difference, I might be willing to give it a shot if it was just the front glass.

Anyway, here's the website that's selling the home DIY kits for front glass replacement.

And they offer a video taking you through the whole process. It's a bit daunting, but for a $150 price difference I'd try it.
