How to repair display for the laptop

It may not be a faulty display.

It could be a loose eDP cable connection (either end, motherboard or LCD panel) or perhaps the cable is damaged where it passes through the left hinge to get from the motherboard to the lid.

Try placing the lid in a position where the display is stable, i.e. no flickering and then press down on the left hinge and check if this makes the display flicker.

Here's the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop. Go to p.56 to view the procedure to remove the LCD panel. This will allow you to check the eDP cable connections and also the cable for damage where it passes through the hinge.

If the cable is damaged, search online for 5C10L46013 to find suppliers that suit you best.

If you determine that the LCD panel is the problem then there are two panels available for the model, a HD (high definition - part # 5D10M41754) and a FHD (full high definition - part # 5D10M41756). Search online using the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best.
