Looking at the ifixit Google Pixel 3 Battery - Genuine product page, only the battery is supplied - and they're out of stock at the moment it seems.
You need to buy the fix kit (scroll down to kit contents) or purchase the Google Pixel 3 Adhesives separately.

I see you sent adhesive strips but what about adhesive to reattach the back to the phone?
I'm looking at the ifixit USA store it may be different to where you're looking
The rear cover adhesive strip was the first part listed in the link I attached for adhesive strips.
It list 6 different adhesive strips/gaskets for the phone, i.e. rear cover, battery, bottom speaker, display, rear camera and rear camera cap.
