Rubber media buttons replacement
Hello,
I want to replace the rubber media buttons on my G915 (TKL tactile switches model).
Do I need to remove the PCB in order to do that ?
Thanks

Actually had the exact same idea. They seem so cheap in comparison to the rest of the board. If anyone has some insight into how to approach this - please post it :)

No—you don’t need to remove the PCB. On the G915 TKL, the rubber media buttons are part of the top control strip and can be replaced by carefully removing the top cover/control panel. The PCB only needs to come out if you’re doing switch or deeper internal repairs.
