Playstation 3 fat disc drive not working at all.

I have a playstation 3 model cechl with blu ray drive bd-410 with laser part kes-410a.

The disc drive is now not working all meaning that the drive won't take a disc of any kind. The drive isn't getting power. I know that I have everything plugged in correctly.

Am I missing something or is my drive shot.

Another note. When I got this ps3, the disk drive was the model that the disc would just go straight in the drive without spinning. I replaced the disk drive because it wouldn't read discs and now I have the disk drive model mentioned where the disc turns as it enters the disk drive.
