Can you attach backpack straps to Patagonia black hole WHEELED duffel?

I know the larger black hole wheeled duffels have straps that can function as backpack straps but the 40L does not. I am wondering if there is a way to attach Patagonia backpack straps to the 40L (if I buy them separately). Thanks!
