Hi,

No information online regarding battery replacement for the watch (or none that I could find) so I suggest that you contact the manufacturer and see if they will tell you the model number of the battery.

There's a 1 year (USA) and 2 year (EU) warranty on the watch so if your watch is still within the warranty period get it fixed under warranty. If it is still within the warranty period do not open the watch to try and repair it yourself as this will void the warranty.

If the manufacturer won't help you will have to open it yourself to find the battery model number or take the watch to a professional, reputable mobile phone or electronics repair service and ask them to do it. Finding the correct battery may take a little while but knowing the battery model number makes it a lot easier.

I opened my first gen Embrace and saw

YJ401720 3.7V 100mAh LZ3BZZ

Looks like a standard smartwatch battery

You can buy those on ebay, BUT make sure you get the same exact size as your watch won't close properly. Search for 3.7v 100mah lithium polymer battery. Or Google it, good luck.

Has anyone ordered a replacement battery that worked successfully? If so can you share the part# or item # and where purchased? I've been trying to match one up but all the ones I find seem too large not the same or smaller dimensions. Any help appreciated Thanks

@t43scout Li-Ion batteries are generally sold by dimension; in this case the dimensions are contained in the number 401720, 4.0mm thick and 17x20mm WxL.

A search for Lithium batteries with that number will give you the best chance of finding something compatible. You can, of course, use a smaller battery, but since size directly correlates to power, a smaller battery will also have a lower mAh rating.

Here's one that should work:

@dadibrokeit Thanks for the quick response much appreciated.

I rechecked my link and it's apparently no longer valid. Not a lot of luck on a new search, but samples are available for this listing, otherwise you'd be buying a minimum of 10 batteries at $3 USD each.
