Can I change the locking tabs on watch body?

Hello,

My watch band has come away from the body of the watch. Seems the pins cracked off a corner of the plastic locking tabs; can I replace them?

Cheers

I have the same problem. I lost mine with a bike accident. I assumed this is an intentional weak spot to prevent serious injuries so I thought this could be purchased from Fitbit. I contacted support to get this part only but they told me they don't have spare parts for Fitbit and offered me a new watch for 35% off.

So I can now throw away a fully functional watch because of that little clip. Was expecting more from Fitbit.

I have the same problem as the clasp on one side broke off when I was trying to clean around it. I was hoping there would be a fix if I called FitBit, but sounds like a futile exercise. Very disappointed.

Here is what I did: I bought one of those universal watchband adapters for the Charge 5 on ebay and glued it to the watch (not sure if links are allowed here; just search for "watchband adapter charge 5").

Now I can use any standard 18mm watchband on my Charge 5. It's even better than before 👍
