Horn and Headlights started at night and will not shut off

Horn and Headlights on 1995 Ford 2WD EB F-150 are constant on and will not stop. Search for short not successful. What is the problem?

There is a factory alarm but... the horn and lights are on consistently not intermittently honking and blinking as the alarm would do.

Hi Chris,

Since the horn and lights are on mostly separate circuits, the thing they most likely have in common is your alarm, so I'm tending toward looking at that as the possible culprit. If it's gone on the fritz it could be stuck lighting the headlights and activating the horn.

I don't see a specific fuse for the alarm, but I'm guessing it's part of the keyless entry system. You might try disabling it by pulling fuse 6 or 8 (or both) in the interior fuse box.
