The Meta Quest 2 (formerly Oculus Quest 2) was released in October 2020 and is the successor to the Oculus Quest.

256 gig model showing 128 gigabytes of storage capacity.

For whatever reason, my 256 gigabyte Meta Quest 2 says it has 128.00GB of total storage. What went wrong, and what can I do (other than file a claim under warranty) to fix this?

most likely a shipping or packaging mistake or a firmware issue (RARE) id say get the product replaced and get it swapped not much to do but swap the storage chip directly on the board WHICH IS SOOOOOOO HARD

Likely firmware. Came out of the box 256 gigs, but is now 128 gigs, so I'll consider shipping it back

Well it could be a manufacturing mistake
