How to remove ink when not within window

I found what error code E08 is but now I turn on print Nyerere and cartridges do not stay within window to be able to remove ink cartridge so I can continue with procedure. Can you help me in getting printer to stay within window so I can remove ink, remove absorber, clean it and replace? Thanks!
