Repair guides and information for kitchen food scales.

After my scale powers on, it says Err.

Just keeps reading Err even when I try to to weigh stuff or zero it out. Tried replacing batteries already which resulted in the same result: Err. Any ideas on how to fix it?

There are problems common to those with an electronic board. So, disassemble, and usually under the display you will find the circuit board. Reasonable chance that fluid has entered this area and wreaked havoc. My fix was to dip Q-Tips into rubbing alcohol and swab the entire board (batteries out, of course), reassemble, and watch it light up. Give it a try. Dave
