1 Permanent menu bar on the bottom of the screen (grey)
Hello, I just bought this used iPhone X online and I noticed what looks like a TickTok menu bar on the top & bottom of the screen. This menu bar doesn’t go away no mater how I change apps. It’s slightly visible but I look carefully I see it. See attached photos and video that I took using another phone. Any idea what is that? Thank you.

My first suspicion is that the screen has been replaced with a bad aftermarket one.

@Amine Is it the “washed out” area at the bottom you’re talking about? It almost looks like it’s something that’s “burned” into the screen, but it’s hard to see due to low quality.

@geirandersen It's in the top and bottom. in the top right, I can read the "FOR YOU" button one would see in a typical TikTok menu. worried! I cant figure out how to attach picture directly to ifixit.
