Device turns on but screen is black and not working

The device was working perfectly with no issues and the battery was fully charged, my girlfriend called me and when we stopped the call the display never turned on again.

I hard rebooted it and the speaker works perfectly since it makes the turn on sound and the device works but the display is still black what do i do
