Repair and disassembly guides for the Nintendo Switch OLED Model, announced and released in 2021.

Why does Switch OLED video not work in handheld mode?

I have an OLED switch and it doesn't display video in handheld mode. It responds to touch input, and plays sound effects in handheld mode, but no display. When it's docked, it does display video, and all functions appear to work.

I tried to fix this by installing a new OLED panel and digitizer assembly, but even after this, there's still no display. Any idea what could be causing this?

shine a light on the screen and see if theres an image, if there is its a backlight issue, if not it could be a connector issue or something motherboard related

Thanks for this advice. I've heard that the OLED switch doesn't have a backlight, so this doesn't apply. By the way it turns out there was a problem with the display connector. I switched out the motherboard and it's fine now
