If I purchase a new fold3 main screen, have the replacement screens been improved to be more resilient (like the Fold4 supposedly have)? Or will this next one fail in 3 months, too?

As cool as these phones are, I don't think they'll be very economical in the long run. They're a fad really. They took something that wasn't really meant to be folded, and made it fold anyways. Think of it like a paper clip. It can only fold and unfold so many times before it breaks.
Samsung found a way to make a very expensive device even more wasteful sadly.
