IC identification in lenovo ideapad 3, gaming laptop
https://forums.lenovo.com/download/1U_Ri... I am having difficulty identifying an ic in my lenovo ideapad 3 ryzen 7. The one below the wifi card. My laptop couldn't power on an the that ic would get very hot. I took it to a repair technician and he replaced it with another one but the laptop wouldn't power on still, it was still getting hot. Unfortunately the repair technician misplaced the original one. Could someone kindly help me identify the ic. I want to order it

@frimfantasy You have to remove the "code" block from the question in order for the picture to work ;)

Hi @frimfantasy,
What is the model number of the motherboard (printed on board itself, e.g. NM-C???)?

@frimfantasy really tough customer to deal with here :-) The motherboard is a L350-IMH +N18P-G61/62 MB NM-C871 and the part in question is a RT6585CGQW_WQFN20_3X3 voltage regulator and part of your DC_DC step down circuitry.

Hi @oldturkey03,
Getting hot may be due to something else, considering that it has been replaced and still getting hot.
Hopefully the OP can read schematics ;-)
