I was tearing my 3DO down and noticed what looked like a modchip but it looks so well done that I am not sure if it is from the factory or not so hopefully someone can help me with this.

@cwr81 looks like an aftermarket RGB Mod. Remember that real modders take a lot of pride in their work and are true artists.

Ok cool, does it look right, it had a shorted out power supply so wanted to make sure it was just a faulty psu and not this mod, thank you for your help though

@cwr that looks right and should not affect your power supply. You'd e seeing scorching/carbon on the wires or solder points if there would be short on it. Definitely NOT a hack job.
