Wi-Fi working without Wi-Fi Antenna.
Hello!
I removed the Wi-Fi antenna located at the top right, next to the rear camera, and when doing a test I am still able to connect to Wi-Fi. Are there 2 Wi-Fi antenna in the iPhone 8 Plus? Or it the antenna at the top right only a GPS antenna maybe?
Thank you!
Edit : Added images and also where I found the guide https://www.sosav.fr/guides/mobiles/ipho...

@gabb04 I second this, as I just looked at the schematics for the iPhone 8 Plus (Qualcomm version) and the top right most antenna connector is the NFC antenna

@gabb04 Ah, that one; Well, if you have a strong WiFi signal, or you're close to the WiFi router, it is quite possible to get a signal, even without an antenna connected.

@geirandersen Ahh I see! It makes sense! Thanks for the info.
Would I be possible to completely remove the Wi-Fi while keeping the cellular data? I know that there's the diversity antenna but I think this both has Wi-Fi and Cellular, but I am not sure.
