New LCD screen showing Burn-in from Old OLED display

I just replaced the Burnt-in OLED screen on this iPhone X with a brand new LCD display. All seemed fine until today, I pick the phone up and it's showing the same Burn-in pattern from before. Did I receive a used display under the guise of new or is something deeper the issue? This LCD was obtained from iFixit

Out of the thousands of iPhones I've repaired I have never ever seen screen burn on a apple screen, genuine or aftermarket. Any better pics? Hard to make out on that one.

Maybe try to replace it with an OLED screen instead of a LCD.

@strongbow Apologies, please see original post for better photo. You're going to be looking for a pattern similar to the call dialogue screen.

@kangdaejeon as much as I'd love to, this iPhone is going to be a part of a collection, not a daily driver. OLED is more expensive and not justifiable in my instance. The difference in screen technologies should make no difference here, if it's a new screen, why does it have burn in from the old screen??

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

oh. i understand. Im not sure why it kept the original burn in.

Maybe try to replace it with an OLED screen instead of a LCD. And this pic is blurry so if you can get a better pic then thanky you.

There is a fix to this problem! https://youtu.be/46KdDH5tSic

The display tries to compensate for wear with software so if the person who replaced your display copied the data from the old screen your issue can arrise. You most likely have a oled display by the way unless you paid less for an aftermarket lcd

I repaired this phone, and I posses no such tool to copy the old data off of the old screen. I specifically purchased an LCD screen because this phone isn't going to be a daily driver. Thanks for the input though!
