Can I replace a SM-G996B motherboard with a SM-G 996U?

Hi there. Have a phone that is constantly droping the WI-FI. have to switch off and back on WI-FI in settings to make it wok again.

If i have to replace the motherboard (original is SM-G996B/DS) can i replace it with a SM-G996U?
