How to replace a standard LCD display, with a touchscreen one

I was wondering how I would go about putting a touchscreen in my non touchscreen computer, as supposedly they are interchangeable between models

@albertein_tein_ download the maintenance and service manual from here. Page 82 shows you how to replace the display. Those are the same steps you would take to replace one screen for the other.

This does not clearly show which connectors need to be present on the board in order for it to function properly, but thank you for the help.

@albertein_tein_ now I see what you are looking for. You want to know if your motherboard is compatible with a touch screen. Check page 79 in the above guide. It shows you were the connector for the touch cable would be.
