D M you've checked the Rev 1.0 to see if that at least would get you into the ball park?

Yes there is a schematic, I can search for it , or maybe on sorin-s forum , aniway It seems that my M11X died in similar way , Plug'ed in a "so called SSD kingstone msata" , and it not post anymore. I wen't trough flashing the bios , and it complete's but no success after. The key combo to activate the Phoenix Crisis Recovery on the M11x is simply pressing the "END" key while plugging in the A/C cord . And it beeps confirmation after finishing (read's from USB tumbdrive).

Opened up the M11X , and found a few stuff wrong inside , was missing something at GPU lvl , SMD mounted that and flow-n it , but southbrige heat's up (more than it should) , and Not enough voltage after power-up to GPU (reads 1. someting or 2.v nowhere near enough , so may be a busted vrm also) , I just gave up for now . Was unable to determine the corect procedure to fix it , (it beeps so bios seems fine , but blank screen , fan's loud - that's it).

Try removing batteries, pressing holding power button to drain power(more time you press the less likely you need to repeat procedure), re test with a good known power adapter. Check old power adapter to see if correct voltage is given, using voltage meter.... if nothing works reseat ram(use 1 module) ,repeat procedure. Or gpu or ram or bios or power problem(these are most likely culprit.)
