Hi
Most of the times I have seen this issue it’s usually just a bad battery that needs replacing
However it could be something else ,has the device had and hard falls or any form of water damage?
Of all the possible causes it’s most likely the battery but please let me know if it has has any other damage

This issue can be difficult to diagnose. Agree to the previous assertions of battery, especially if it’s been in disuse for quite a while. But this could be related to a whole lot of things.
