5 Tony hawk ride skateboard not working
I have an item that I'm not sure if the item can be fixed or not. The item is a physical plastic skateboard accessory for tony hawk ride. I have this game for ps3. The skateboard was bought brand new.
The problem is that the skateboard no longer stays connected to a doggle. As shown by the picutres, I'm not sure if the skateboard can even come apart. There is no disassembly of this on youtube or any guide whatsoever.
My guess would be the circuit board that has all the buttons and the led lights would need to be replaced. It looks like you can take the board apart, but there is probably more screws that are hidden.
When the skateboard works correctly, there is one led light that lights up in red.
The manufacturer doesn't give any information out at all. Ignore the white label in the first picture. The last two show a doggle that the skateboard connects to. The problem is that the skateboard doesn't stay connected to the doggle. The silver cable has an outer rubber part that came off. This would probably be a fire hazard if plugged in.
If I replaced the little circuit board in the last picture, I would probably have to do some soldering. What about covering the silver cable? The outer rubber part came off.
The worst case is I get another skateboard and doggle.
