Are g4 processors interchangable?
can i put the processor from my ppc g4 tower in my imac g4? like an upgrade.

No you can't. The iMac G4 processor is part of the logic board and cannot be removed.

Many of these are interchangeable between the same type of G4. What processor do you have and what was the original machine your are trying to move it to?

I just re-looked over your question after lemerise gave his answer. I was referencing the G4 tower machines not the G4 imac pod machines, so it's according to which one you have, the tower or the Pod.
