Hi Joe,

The best way to troubleshoot your issue is to connect the iBook to an external monitor and check if you have the same issue on the external. If so then your graphic chip is failing and it's time for a new machine. If the image is good on the external monitor then you need to replace the LCD panel or the LVDS (video) cable. You could begin by trying a PMU reset and a PRAM reset.
