1 Mid 2009. MacBook Pro, not turning on.
When I press the power button, nothing happens, but the battery indicator does work and the battery holds a charge and the fans do not spin up and this happened after a long time, not being used

When you press the Battery Checker button on the side of the system what do the LED's do? Do they shine steady or do they blink? Are all of the LED's lit or fewer that ten?
