The SanDisk microSD card is a storage device/medium in the TransFlash/microSD format. The standard ones come in all different capacities, up to 2GB. It was released in October 2001.

What information should I put?

I'm trying to see all the past photos and videos of my SanDisk MicroSD Card 2GB trough USB in Windows 10, but it says I need to "Format" it first to use it, but I am confused on what setting I should insert, (Specially the "Volume" ).

Hi,

Do not format the card!

If you do a full format on the SD Card, you will lose all your files (photos and videos) that are stored on the card. They will be erased.

If you do a quick format, the file address table on the card will be erased, which is essentially the same thing as you won't be able to retrieve files, at least not easily.

If Win 10 shows that the card needs to be formatted it can't read the card so either the card is faulty or corrupted or the USB SD Card reader may have a problem. Can you read other SD Cards OK using the card reader?

Where was the card previously inserted? If it was a camera can you view the files from the card in the camera at all?
